How do I join Frudoo? 

 

It’s easy and it’s free

Simply fill in the brief registration details at www.frudoo.com/register, being sure to enter your mobile number. Shortly afterwards, you’ll receive a text from us to verify your number and authenticate your Frudoo registration

Once you enter your verification code online at www.frudoo.com/register/verify , you will be able to complete your Profile and join the Frudoo community

What do I receive as a Member? 

 

You receive messages, offers, information, previews, alerts, special deals and sometimes links to branded content and entertainment

Your Frudoo Profile doesn’t just describe the kind of person you are, it also highlights your interests and preferences; these key insights help advertisers engage directly with you – and your Profile ensures the messages come from the brands that interest you most

You are in control of the whole process and this means the advertisers work hard to earn your patronage

Every time an advertiser sends you a message via Frudoo, 5p automatically goes to your MyFrudoo account and any additional sums, for example from FrudooSays, are paid into the same account

As your MyFrudoo account builds, you can elect to take the cash or donate the funds to charity

What happens to the money I earn? 

 

When you complete your MyFrudoo Profile, you can chose whether you want to donate your cash to a charity of your choice or have the funds paid directly to your PayPal account

How often will I receive payment? 

 

Payment direct to your PayPal account or to the charity of your choice is made at the end of each month for all account balances of £1 or more. If your account balance happens to be less than a £1, the full balance is rolled forward to the following month

Honestly, how much does all this cost? 

 

Frudoo is entirely free to its Members and there are no hidden costs or unwelcome surprises. It’s the advertiser that pays because you’ve given your permission to receive advertising to your mobile

However, there are two situations where you may incur costs . . . firstly, if you receive a message that offers the opportunity to browse and or call for more information, your network operator may apply charges depending on your mobile tariff

Secondly, if you are roaming when you receive an advertiser’s message and you then reply, call or browse, your network operator may apply roaming charges depending on the nature of your mobile tariff

What do you do with my Frudoo Profile? 

 

Your Frudoo Profile is a summary of the products, services and categories that you want advertisers to take into account when preparing the offers, ads and invitations they would like to send you

The more complete your Profile, the better the picture an advertiser can build of what will be most relevant and interesting to you

Why are there four Profile Levels? 

 

Level 1 is the core registration details required to create your Frudoo Membership; these take only a few seconds to complete

Level 2 is all about the things that currently interest you most and provide the basic preference information needed in order for you to receive advertisers’ messages and updates

Frudoo aims to send you only the information that best matches your interests and personal profile so, in order to receive advertisers’ messages and offers, you need to have completed both Level 1 and Level 2

Level 3 is a more detailed view of the categories that are of interest to you; this is the information that can help advertisers customise the offers and information they send you. Essentially, Level 3 covers the things you want advertisers to know about the products and services that matter to you

Will my personal information be safe? 

 

Always. Mobile advertising is still a new and fast-growing phenomenon and with this comes new legislation and guidelines

Not only does Frudoo comply with and often exceed all current data security legislation, we are active contributors to the body of specialists responsible for making mobile advertising a fully regulated and monitored channel

Frudoo will never provide advertisers with direct access to your personal information unless you specifically ask us to - for example, if you request an advertiser call you about a promotion or offer that interests you

Do I have to complete all the Profile questions? 

 

You are free to complete as much or as little of your Profile as you wish, although in order to receive advertisers’ messages and information, you need to complete Level 1 and Level 2

All you have to bear in mind is that the more Profile Levels you complete, the more relevant the messages and offers can become. Importantly, you also increase the number of prize draw entries available to you each month

For your added protection, we reserve the right to decline any advertiser’s request to send out inappropriate or even poor offers

Are there any age limits?

You need to know that Frudoo is shaped and driven by its Members’ needs and requests and that, crucially, Frudoo takes the custodianship of its Members very seriously indeed

We work with advertisers and their advisors to ensure that only the most relevant and appropriate information is channelled to our Members, whatever their age

What is FrudooSays? 

 

FrudooSays is a nationwide panel of Frudoo Members who have expressed an interest in sharing their views and opinions with advertisers, research companies and those developing new products

In return for their feedback and comments, members receive an additional cash payment depending on the scale of the project being carried out

To join the panel, all you need do is tick the FrudooSays box in your Profile

And what if I, say, travel overseas or change my phone? 

 

No problem. If your mobile number changes at anytime, simply go online to amend your registration details; that’s all we need to ensure your Frudoo membership remains live

If you’re likely to be out of the country for a period of time or need to put your membership on pause, simply log in to your MyFrudoo Profile, click on the “take a message holiday” button and tell us when to stop and restart your messaging

To join the panel, all you need do is tick the FrudooSays box in your Profile

How does the Frudoo prize draw work? 

 

Frudoo Members are automatically entered into the regular Frudoo prize draws, however, you can receive additional prize draw entries just by completing Level 3 and Level 4 of your Profile

It works like this:

* 1 prize draw entry when you complete Profile Level 1

* 2 more prize draw entries when you complete Profile Level 2

* 3 more when you complete Profile Level 3

* 4 more when you complete Profile Level 4

Complete all four levels and you have ten regular prize draw entries

Introduce a friend to Frudoo, using Introduce a Friend on your MyFrudoo page and, each time a friend joins, you receive a further five prize draw entries

Winners are selected at random from the pool of regular prize draw entrants and are notified by text and e-mail

Your MyFrudoo page has the details of your prize draw entries

Can other members of my household join too? 

 

Any mobile user, aged 16 and over and with a UK-registered mobile phone number, is welcome; in fact, the more the Frudoo community grows, the more influence you will have over the quality of advertising offers and information that is sent to Members

On your MyFrudoo page you can invite your friends, family and colleagues to join Frudoo and, whenever one of them becomes a Member, you receive another five entries into the regular Frudoo prize draw

How can I deactivate my account? 

 

You can take a Message Holiday at any time for up to four weeks; all you have to do is update your details on your MyFrudoo page

If you want to deactivate your account, you can do so by any one of the following methods:

1) Txt 'STOP' to 60399

2) Send an unsubscribe request using the Contact Us form

3) Call us on 0845 052 2967 and request your phone be unsubscribed

To reactivate your account, simply log back in and update your MyFrudoo details

If you want to completely delete your Frudoo account, including your profile information, you can do so by sending a request using the Contact Us form
